The skin is the largest organ, the first protection against external factors. Accordingly, it should also be treated well and not just with good external care.
It renews itself every month and needs building materials and energy for it.
It is the first protection against external factors. In order for our body to stay healthy and function, it needs 7vitamins and macronutrients, among other things. These include fat, protein and carbohydrates, including sugar. They get into the skin via the bloodstream, where they are linked to form connective tissue, which in turn keeps the body shell taut.

Apart from vitamin D and a small amount of vitamin A, our body cannot produce the essential vitamins itself.

That is why we have to get vitamins through food.
Bones, blood, eyes, skin, nerves and organs - all of them need vitamins to function and stay healthy.

Quickly digestible carbohydrates cause the insulin level to rise suddenly and stimulate cell growth. As a result, sebum glands are enlarged and acne occurs. It is also deposited, causing inflammation and accelerating the aging of the skin.
Complex carbohydrates, on the other hand, cause the blood sugar level to rise slowly. These can be found in whole grain products, vegetables, jacket potatoes and fruit.

Trans fats cause inflammation, promote acne and skin aging as they attack cells.
Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, on the other hand, protect the genetic make-up and thus slow down skin aging. Essential fatty acids must be obtained through food.
They can be found in avocado, nuts, seeds and linseed oil, among other things.

The ratio between omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids should be balanced.
Omega 3 inhibits inflammation and Omega 6 promotes it, but plays an important role in wound healing and in the fight against pathogens. But if the inflammatory reactions get out of hand, the immune system reacts.
Neurodermatitis, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, but also rheumatic diseases can develop or there can be relapses.

A balanced diet, adequate drinking, and physical activity are the most important factors for a healthy body and skin.
Our body loves whole foods, lots of vegetables, legumes and fruit.
Constant renunciation is not good either, every now and then you need something for the soul.
We therefore do not believe in strict diets.

Eating should be fun!
